Advice needed, Calorie counting?

Im after doing a calorie counting Diet but not really sure what to do.

If I set myself a target of either 1000 or 1500 calories a day do I also have to count fat content or do you just do the calories? Sorry to sound dull but the diets i have only ever done have been slimming world.

Also if I did only 100 ab crunches a day would that get rid of excess skin on my tum? or does a tum get beyond repair?

I think if you are following a calorie controlled diet you can do it either way - you can just have a calorie limit and ignore fat content or you can set a fat content limit as well like 40g per day (I dont know what the recommended is) or you could just count calories but avoid all food that is greater than 10% fat or something like that which would reduce the overall fat content. 1000 calories a day is a bit too low and would be very difficult to maintain - 1500 is a better target - good luck - you should join the fat fighters thread too :hug:
 
also re calories - i think if you're over 14st and trying to lose weight, you should have 1500 or less... if you're under 14st it's 1800..... i think
 
Im 12st7 so I could get away with the 1500 calorie limit diet :)

I have never done a diet like this so will be very hard but to be honest it should be worth it too
