So I have thrush again :-( managed about 4 weeks in the clear from it.

Got nothing in the house to treat it apart from natural yogurt.

Read on google to soak a tampon and insert overnight like a pessary.

Any body tried this ? Did it work ? Are there any risks with the pregnancy ?

Desperate to give it a go as so irritated with the irritation :-( !!!!

Saw this hun and didnt want to read and run
Tampons arnt reccomended during pregnancy at all especially not to leave in overnight.
If you can keep downstairs clean and dry and go to the chemist first thing or make a late
Night trip to tesco or somewhere for some canestan
I wouldn't use tampons!!! I hate thrush and I hold
You get it sorted soon hun x

Thanks I thought that too.

I was just maybe thinking of putting yogurt in until the morning without the tampon just to ease it a little ( this seems weird to discuss haha )

It's personal choice really hun as many women do this. However personally I would be scared about it going funny up there!! But it's up to you whatever you feel comfortable with doing
I'm a slightly worried about absolutely everything x

This is gonna feel rank but lather a pad in the yoghurt and sit in a pair of old pajamas bottoms. Feels like you poo'd yourself a little bit but oh...my...god it's soothing!

I get thrush evey time I have antibiotics and gah it drives me mental!

natural yougourt!! it works a treat, but yep no tampons x

Thanks. Going to pluck up the courage to do this..... Feels weird the thought of putting yogurt on my bits lol

I used to get thrush a lot when I was younger and I always used natural yoghurt - works wonders :)

Right, natural yogurt is on !!! - hope it works for me now

I was told not to use a tampon! I just smothered it all over when I had thrush and it was so soothing! And it does work!!!! Xxx

I'm less itchy this morning... But I think it may have sorted it, I'm just expecting to itch I think.

Will apply more tonight, don't fancy going to work with yogurt on my foof :D
