Hi ladies

congratulations on your BFPs, and sorry for hijacking 1st tri I was wondering if any of you could help....

Did anyone think they weren't oving when they actually were? I never ever get positive opk results and am starting to get scared now that I'm infertile or something. It's only my 3rd cycle ttc and I know that's early days but this lack of oving is really frustrating, I am forever peeing on those damn ov tests! I am getting quite alot of soreness and cramping low down but no ewcm or anything..

any advice gratefully recieved

Hiya hun, what time of day do you use OPKs and how many days do you use them for in your cycle? I tested twice a day from CD11, 2pm and 6pm each day. OPKs dont work for everyone hun, maybe try something else like charting?

I got pregnant on my 6th cycle TTC. I didn't get any CM until my 5th cycle then it just came all at once. Apparently this is a side effect of the pill (were you on the pill before?)

I only knew I was ovultaing when I started charting because my lines on OV tests were never full strength. I think this is because I drink a lot of water. When I started charting I realised I was having mild positives on OPKs but not ovulating so my temps were staying low. I ovulated at 3rd attempt the cycle i caught (45 days)

Are you having regular cycles? You will be able to tell if you are ovulating by your temps if you chart. If I were you I would assume you are ovulating but that you are just not rid of the pill yet and it might take a little bit more time.

Have you tried the magic medicine?

thanks for your opinions, It's my third cycle off the pill. I have had two 28 day cycles so far (not incl the initial pill bleed).

I also drink a lot of water and really struggle with the whole 'don't drink for a few hours' thing. I test 11am, 2pm and 8pm - ridiculous eh?

I know i probably just have to be patient but it's so frustrating not even ovulating (if I'm not), it's like we don't even have a chance at it The only thing i can think of is possibly i ovulate early - but this would mean it would have to be before CD10, so not very likely
