Hello I was using P.D to keep track of when I am fertile and ovulating . I have downloaded Clue and it gives me completely different days . I have also ordered fertile Sticks to test when I am fertile as really keen to get pregnant. It’s so hard and I would just like some advice as I also feel after sex a lot of the seman comes out . Is there anyway to keep this In for longer?.

You don’t need to keep the semen in for long in order to conceive. The sperm either get into the cervix or die within a few seconds of ejaculation. Some women lay on their back and stick their hips in the air for a few minutes after sex as they reckon that helps, but you don’t have to do that.

You’ll find apps pretty useless if you want to pinpoint your exact ovulation day, but if you have regular cycles they should at least give you a ballpark idea. Try the OPKs everyday from CD10 and make sure you check your cervical mucus. When it looks and feels like raw egg whites, that’s the best time to have sex as that’s when you’re most fertile. :) good luck TTC, I hope your journey is a short one x

OPK's are probably better than apps. Can't give better advice than what has already been said but well wishes to you on your journey! <3

Agree that it’s not necessary to keep the sperm in there.
The female orgasm makes the cervix far more receptive though, so definitely worth having one of those
If you want to pinpoint ovulation, temping and opk sticks are your way forward, using that information on an app might help to chart things. Good luck.

I'd try the opks from cd7 or 8 as I used to ovulated on cd9 and 10 sometimes. In my experience apps are not very accurate. It's normal for semen to come out. Only a certain amount of it is sperm and that will be heading in the other direction. Best thing is to dtd every other day as soon as you see the EWCM, and also track the ovulation with opks.

Thank you so much for that advice . Had a wee look online for OPKS CD 7/8 couldn’t see can I ask where you got yours if possible please ? :-)

Stephanie - CD 7/8 means cycle day 7/8 it isn't the name of the OPK.
Just type in google ovulation kits and you can by them in a bulk of 30.
