sorry if im confusing anyone cos i said jacks mmr was last week but i got the dates wrong so he actually had it wednesday just gone.

hes been fine, he had one in each leg, mmr and a booster for something. the one he had in his right leg looked really swollen and red yesturday and was hot and hard to touch, just bathed him and its pretty much doubled in size and is still red and hard. i also noticed 2 red spots on his bum and i dont think ive ever seen spots anywhere on his body, they look like tiny little blisters, but that might be unrelated im not sure!

i looked in his book cos i didnt no which injection was in which leg and his mmr was in his left leg and nowhere in the book does it say she injected anything into his right leg (which im not happy about!) and i cant remember excactly what it said on the appointment card! is it men c booster they have? is this normal? do u think i should fone nhs direct. hes been fine other than that. im a bit worried... :(

defo ring NHS direct or pop to o ut of hours just to make sure everything is ok hope he is better soon

hi kelly..chrsitopher had the mmr in one leg and the men c booster in the other ..hes been fine sine thankfully but he hasnt got anything like that his injection site has gone.

so my advice would be to ring NHS direct and se what they say...although i do remember the nurse who did christophers saying that they can get a lumpy area around the site anythign between 3-12 days after the injections..may be he has just had this kind of mild reaction.

better be safe than sorry..give NHS direct a ring - hope he is okay nd its just a mild reaction...keep us updated hun xx

hi, i foned nhs and they said it was prob just a mild reaction but if it gets worse go to the docs. When he woke i couldnt even see where the needle had gone in let alone any redness!! im sure i didnt imaginie it...maybe i did not had much sleep for a while!! but hes fine! thanks for all your advice! :D :D
