that one looks nice and comfy :)
i wanted to get the winnie the pooh nest thingy but my friend told me her L/O grew out of it so fast so i got a fisherprice linkadoos mat that came with a plastc toy arch..a toy turtle thing and loads of little toys and rings to attach to the mat and the arch..i'll look for a piccy,,i think its better for older babies..i like the one you have put!

i just brought this one in store today (it was £29.99 though) and hes enjoyed chewing on everything and smiling and talking to himself in the mirror so id recommend it. To start with ya newborn wont care less but id def get ones with lots of attachments, mirrors and dangley things.

I had one similar to the one you posted the pic of Jollypops.

I never really used it. I bought one where DD could move about on a little (couldn't on this one as cushioned) and one where she could reach the toys better.

i have this one , even made a thread bout it cos it was sooo much money but its been one of my best purchases ! i liked it more then others because , its super big , can be used outside , its really bright , the tummy time pillow was really important to me becuause of lelands flat head , u can get extra toys for it and i think it will last him a long time even when the arches maybe become redunadant , oh and the mirror is his best friend lol its alot of money tho .

I agree with Gem, tiny love playmats are the absolute best. I have had loads but the one we have at the moment is brilliant.

and we got ours from here, they are cheaper then anywhere in the shops and have free delivary. Recommend buying from them :)

We have this one:

We didnt get it till LO was around 4 weeks and I am really glad as I probably would have picked something I found pretty rather than the one we got which she loves - the black and whit patterns really caught her eye right from the start and the fact that it folds up so well is very handy in our tiny house, and for taking with us to grandparents etc

Thanks for your replys, and please keep them coming.
Theres so many things to think about!
Tummy time, colours, mirrors, moving bits, removable bits, outdoors, indoors, where to store it, god the list goes on.
 Am i ever gona get the hang of these things!!

We had this one...

That very one :rotfl:

Fisher Price Rainforest. Would highly recommend it. I asked for it as a leaving present from work so I didn't actually buy it, but it's a good one to ask for as a pressie as it was more than I would usually have paid for a playmat, but it was the one I had wanted all along.
