So usually where your abdomen is hard that's where your baby is but can the baby be in one spot kicking somewhere else? My abdomen is hard at the lower part on the right side. This is my first so I'm not really familiar with this. I'll be 28 weeks tomorrow with a baby girl on the way.

Mine is the same. All hard on the left. But soft to the right where most of my kicks are. Midwife said the hard parts are his back and bum. And legs are curled up otherside where kicks are.
He pushes his back out against me now and is so obvious.

At 28 weeks, baby is basically a free floating funny shaped thing that has the power to get into all kinds of positions. Even at 34 weeks (second baby) baby pushes itself over to one side with its arms and legs making my bump funny shaped and hard in one area and not another.

Right now I have an egg shaped bump sticking up out of my bump if that makes sense, must be a back or something and hurting my skin into the bargain :)

Yes mine still does that at 37 weeks. She is very strong. :wall2: :)
