aaaaaarrrrrgggghhhhh!!

Please could I have a little rant?? I will be 12 weeks pregnant this week in my 6th pregnancy having had 2 miscarriages and then three pregnancies with bleeding and preeclampsia but healthy babies - have previously had NHS early scans for bleeding and a private 12 week scan for reassurance. This time round have had no bleeding so no scans so far - was told by midwife that 12 week scans are now routine - waiting for appointment - nothing - phoned last week to be told I hadnt been allocated a date yet. Phoned again this morning becasue with half term coming up life is getting more chaotic ad dont want to book anymore trips or friends until I know date - was told that somebody in their wisdom has decided I dont need a 12 week scan - WHAT!!!!! when were they going to let me in on this decision why dont I need a scan - surely if it is routine I am entitled?? anyway they are now trying to find me a date - have offered 2 so far but cant fit in school pickup and dropping off 3 children in time - the first date was 4pm today!

aaaarrrrrggggghhhh - feeling a bit better now and waiting for them to call back - have loads of important phonecalls to make this morning but cant until I hear from the hospital - thanks for letting me rant

just useless aint they hun i had the same thing
they desided that i wasnt allowed one but after crying down the phone and pleading with them i got one hope you manage to get a desent date and soon

they've phoned back again and booked for Thursday at 11.40 - just hope I get finished in time to pick dd up from school, ds will have to miss playgroup and animals are due in kennels but wont have time to get there and back - didnt dare turn the appointment down tho incase I dont get another - looking forward to it now!!
