a town in mourning

as some of u know i live in colchester which has an army barricks, well over the last week we have lost 5 soldiers over in afganistan, and today they had a service today in the town, it amazing how touching it was and how quiet the town was al day,

I used to live in Colchester, and some of my best mates were squaddies, mostly REME, but a couple of bog standard ground pounders and nco's.

Soldiers get my respect because they put their lives on the line in situations they dont ask for.
