8 days late

Hello,

I'm new here. I'm 8 days late for my period. I've done 4 test and they have all come out negative. I feel very tired, hot, faint and have stomach cramps every few hours (feels exactly like I'm going to come on but not as bad). Has anyone else had false negative test? I'm trying to get a doctors appointment but I have to book 4 weeks in advance and it's driving me crazy not knowing if I am pregnant or not!

Can anybody give me some advice?

My friend was over 6 months gone before she could get a positive result on a home test, though that is very rare, and by that time she knew the baby was OK through blood tests and scans.

Don't your doctors offer a 'sit and wait' service or anything, surely they can't expect anyone to be ill for four weeks before they are seen too?

If not, is there a Family planning clinic near you? http://www.fpa.org.uk They should be able to offer you some tests
