7 week ultrasound

hi everyone
anyone had experience with a 7 week abdominal ultrasound ? Will the baby definitely be visible? I’m unable to get the ttansvaginal one but I’ve heard that even if the baby can’t be seen, my womb lining will be thicker etc

I had one at 7w and a few days and baby looked like a kidney bean. Not very exciting to look at but he was there and they spotted the heatbeat. Mine was transabdominal too because I had drunk so much water before that they could only see my bladder with the internal one. Drinking water helps for transabdominal though because it pushes the uterus up and makes everything more visible.

I had one at 7+1 and they could see baby and her heartbeat. They couldn’t measure her though because she was tucked in the corner of my uterus. At this stage your body fat plays a role... if you’re skinny it’s easier too see, if you’re overweight you might not see anything. Drink lots of water to push that uterus up

I had one abdominally at exactly 8 weeks, we could see the little arm and leg buds, head and abdomen clearly as well as clear heartbeat etc
As others said, lots of water and it's easier to see if you are slim.
