Hi, I'm new to the forum and just wanted to hear other stories (bad and good) from people in a similar situation to myself.
Based on my last period and cycle length I should be 8 weeks today.
I bled constantly from 5 days before my period for almost 4 weeks, this was a mix of spotting and extremely heavy, thick blood with lots of clotting.
I had a scan 2 weeks ago to see what was going on and a sac and yolk was seen, barely, not enough for them to measure.
Today I have gone back for another scan and saw a baby measuring 6w3d with a heartbeat which is great, however, the sonographer was concerned because the gestational sac itself was showing smaller than she is expecting. I have been booked in for another scan in 2 weeks.
Has anyone had this where the baby and heartbeat are seen but the sac growth is small? I don't know what this means and I'm scared.
Also, a bit of history, our last miscarriage was in December, went for a scan due to spotting and saw 6w6d baby with heartbeat and thought all was fine. Went back 2 weeks later and the heart had stopped. Due to this, I still feel so scared about the heart stopping but on top of this they are concerned about the sac so I am just feeling so numb right now, I just have a gut feeling the same thing is going to happen again.
