I know he's only 4 weeks old but jeez I'm shattered, got a permanent headache :( He only wakes once in the night around 2.30am but he doesn't go back to sleep for 2 hours then wants up at 6am

i just keep thinking that it can only get better...

What time does he feed before that? You could maybe try waking him between 11 & 12 for a feed and he might go a little longer.

Dafydd has his last feed at 11:30 and goes till 4:30 and then wakes at 9 for the day. i also wake him in the day and dont let him go longer than 4 hours.

*sticks fingers in ears and goes 'lalalala i'm not listening* :shakehead: :shakehead:

it WILL get better, or i'm sending connor back - i didn't order one that cries all night!

he didn't really, cried from about 4pm (well whinged) then went down at 10pm afterfeed at 9am and woke at 1am, fed and changed and went back down around 3am, to wake at 4.30am and not go back down.

I think he has reflux so going to change his milk I think, he's awfully windy too.

it got worse for me too- much, much worse before it got better! and it was worse for what seemed like ages! it was very hard!

 The first weeks are exhausting arn't they?!

Over the last couple of weeks things are starting to get easier for us, I haven't had a tired headache for a good few days :D I hope I haven't tempted fate by saying all that :?

we found the first couple of weeks very tough too - but it has got better every week - Darragh now sleeps from 9 (ish) till 4.30am and then goes back down till 8 - I only noticed big improvement 2 weeks ago before that he was up roughly every 4 hours - hope it gets easier
