Hey first time mum here! I'm a bit of a dilemma. I have a 6 week old girl who spits up her milk after every feed then demands more I suspect reflux as she hard to burp and looks like there's a bad taste in her mouth was prescriped infant gavison and told to go on comfort milk. The past 4 nights she has done nothing but cry uncontrollably all night and will only sleep on me as soon as she is put down she cries seems to start at 10-10:30pm and lasts all night till about 7am when she decides to sleep in her basket. She sleeps the day time no bother waking up for feeds. I've been to the doctors as the HV advised raditine but the doctor refused to put her on it being such a small baby and she's gaining weight good.
Could she had a bit of colic? I keep getting told to let her cry it out but to me she's to young and I don't like that idea esp when she gets herself so worked up she holds her breath. Sometimes falls asleep in the middle of crying her heart out.
Do I feed her when she demands more food? I'm worried she'll get use to always getting more and that it could be really upsetting her stomach. Should I try the anti reflux milk instead? The comfort milk and gavison dont appear to be any thicker than normal milk. Sorry if my post is all over the place!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
