6 week check up

I've got my six week check today what do they check?

Do they do a smear?

I really don't want one done today.

i had one one but im not sure they do everyone, mine was just
because i was having pain i think, they will ask if you are ok and do a few checks on sam, completely routine and nothing to worry about

I had mine the other week and the nurse just basically asked if I was ok, how the birth was, how Charlie was, feeding etc. She also weighed me and talked about contraception. She said I would need a smear but I had to wait until 4 months after giving birth. Hope this helps.

Same as above, she said it was too early for a smear (she said while you're still healing they often come back needing repeated even if there's nothing wrong), prescribed contraception, talked about weight (and what I need to lose, boo!) and answered any questions I had.

I'm having my 6 week check next week but it's with Angel's 8 week and jabs. With regards to smears, i know the age is 25, but i heard it starts after you have kids if younger. Is this right? I'm 21.

I was told at my 6 week check that i would need to have a smear now i have had my baby. Im 24. The doc said to book one for when Calleigh is about 3 months.
