46 and pregnant!

Hi everyone.

As the title says, I'm 46 and 6 weeks pregnant, conceived naturally and very much in shock at the moment.

I'm so scared after reading all the statistics on the internet of the the risks which come with older pregnancies.

I already have 2 sons 27 years old and 22 years old.

Any advice greatly appreciated xx

A friend of mine had a baby in March, and 46 in May. He is beautiful and completely healthy.

my mum was 43, I am 32 now , my brother is 9 years old. he was the best thing that ever happened to me.
it may feel pretty crap and confusing but its so much more common that people realise.

when I tell people, at first they are like 'oh!' then I end it with a little joke and carry on, we get over it and I have so much fun doing kiddie stuff with him.

he plays beautifully with his niece! my 3 yr old and she loves him so much.

don't panic it aint worth it

Aww, that's amazing news, welcome to the group, I'm 43, I have 3 children and I'm ttc, if you can give me any tips it would be greatly appreciated, we've been trying nearly a year now. The statistics you read about online are very out dated, our age range have healthy babies too. Good luck with your pregnancy hun xx
