4 weeks scan and hcg levels

Hi, so I am almost 4 weeks pregnant and had my visit at the doctor today. He made an internal scan and the only thing we could see was a thickening of the wall.. Then I had my blood test and hcg was at 776.. I'm starting to worry as I just had a mc in July.. Is it normal not to see the sac yet? Is 776 beta an okay result?

Hi, I dont know about the hcg levels but I'd be extremely surprised if you could see anything at all at under 4 weeks pregnant, that's very early to be having a scan?

I once had a scan with my DD at 5 weeks and had the exact same thing. Just a thickening of the walls. 776 is perfectly normal result for a 4 week pregnancy, I think that even qualifies a 5 week one!

Most doctors won’t even scan before 7-8w because it won’t pick up anything.
Since you had a MC, he was probably scanning looking for the thickening of the wall. But i dont know, I’ve never had a mc.

38 weeks today! Where has the time gone?! I try not to complain too much as I am so thankful that we are about to hold our baby in our arms but it has been very heavy on my body. I have technically been pregnant for 13 months, with 2 weeks in between in April, but as 2019 has been the shittiest year in my life, I rrrreally want her to stay put until after new years and start 2020 with some positive news!

Oh god tell me about it!!! 2019 was awful! I think for everybody.. Bring on 2020 wish u all the luck in the world for new year hun! Enjoy ur little peanut xxx
