4/5th palpable/engaged not sure

hi guys

my LO head is now 4/5 engaged(or possibily 4/5th palpable) I had about 6 braxton hick in the night last night, what does 4/5 mean? From the internet I gather she has head a little bit in my pelvis, wonder how long I have left ?

are you sure it was 4/5 engaged or was it 4/5 palpable?

seems early to be so engaged but im not an expert!

mine is 4/5 (palpable) which means the mw can feel 4/5 of the head but she in place and getting ready to drop down over the next few weeks

As Liz said, I am the same 4/5 in my notes which means only 1/5 is engaged..but apparently, it can engage in labour so don't worry too much

yes it could be 4/5th palpable, I have just looked on internet and seems to be more likely to be that.
Is this a good thing then? I am due in 6 weeks

Same as I was at my last appointment, it's a good thing. Apparently first babies usually engage earlier than any subsequent ones.
