Well .....i had my MW appt this morning and got told the following:
* Blood tests all fine
* Good / high iron levels
* Urine clear
* Normal blood pressure (back to how i was at the start of pregnancy)
* Strong baby heart rate 140 beats
* Fundus measuring 34 weeks
ANNDDDDD
** BABY IS HEAD DOWN
at last !!! **
He has been breach all the way through and as i'm only very short they weren't sure whether he would turn and whilst MW said nothing is 100 guaranteed, she could feel head very low down (and it hurt a little when she pressed around my belly and i knew when she had found it ) and bum and knees high up
I just KNEW he had turned - had a VERY uncomfortable night the other week and his movements made me throw up
but since then i have been feeling so much better and i'm even sleeping at night at last.
So, all is looking good - i would love to prove my mum wrong (in a nice way, bless her) and have a natural birth. She had to have c-sections and whilst i dont mind how he arrives as long as he's healthy, i would LOVE to try for a natural birth (wouldnt we all)
So, i have a big grin on my face now
Got a growth scan on Tuesday so that should just make doubly sure (although i know he could turn again at any time, but fingers crossed)
