H is only having 3, 6oz bottles a day now, she seems to have dropped the bedtime bottle and I can't get her to have it at all! Is this what is supposed to happen?

She has a bottle at 7:30am, 11:30am, 4:00pm with a small meal at straight after each bottle.

How many do your LO's have a day and how old are they?

My lo dropped his bedtime bottle at about 10 months I think. Is she sleeping ok at night? If yes I wouldn't worry too much, just make sure she has plenty of water throughout the day. They say the bedtime bottle is the hardest to get them to drop apparently so I'm quite pleased lo dropped it of his own accord.

Thanks for your reply Roo :) , yeah she's still sleeping straight through! I was worried she wasnt getting enough but I suppose since shes fully weaned she's ok? X

Ruby has 5 still , she has 4 in the day and will wake at night for a feed . I think if she's happy and content then I don't see why its a problem xxx

The weaning book im reading says if they drop too much bottle before 6months just give a little less actual food but at her age she might be grand as she is cos she near 6 months

H only has 3 but they are 9oz bottles, he was only taking a tiny bit at lunch so just stopped it and now he has one when he wakes, one mid afternoon and one at bedtime!!

Jax is only having 3 x 5oz bottles and has been for a couple of months now. Only problem is, he is still waking for, most of the time, 2 bottles during the night too!! Grrr. I'd say she is doing fine hun.

Well it wasn't a one of as she went to bed without it again tonight, tried giving if to her but she just screamed until I put her in her cot! Ah well, seems shes ok without it so I'll leave her too it lol. Thanks again ladies x
