2nd birthday

this may seem a bit premature but as i dont have loads of money i am starting to think of Braydons birthday and getting things slowly so it dont all come at once! i was just wondering wot i can get B for his second birthday? is there nething that would really help with his learning i could get him etc, and ne really cool toys that every 2 yr old should have
also i was just wondering wot kinda party thing i could do, he has a few friends at nursery and kinda plays with people i work with kids wen i see them so was wondering is two still to young to do like a kiddies party or is there something else i could do?
any ideas would be gratefully appreciated

I got Jessica a lot of the thomas the tank engine trains for her second. The magnetic ones that join up. Its something that doesnt go out of fashion. Alos, other family members can add to the collection.

For Erin's 2nd birthday we asked people to give money instead of presents, as she has so many toys that she doesn't need any more....and her savings accounts will stand her in better stead for later on.

That said, we did get a few presents for her to open and these included a NumberJacks DVD, Colouring Books & Crayons, Little People farm & zoo set with relevant animals, Books and a Digger Ball Pool (£12.97 in Tesco).

We didn't have a party, but I did make her a cake and we took her to a Butterfly Park with farm animals and then Swimming. She thoroughly enjoyed herself.

this sorta thing keeps him amused, although at the mo I just keep the pics facing up and get him to find the matching one, hes a bit oo young to do it the right way!

For Diors 2nd bday she got all garden bits
a play house slide picnic table

but one thing Dior is really getting into now is figures she likes happy land and dolls houses where you role play with them eg she puts the baby figure into the cot and on the toliot. its so cute lol

My Mum hired out the local hall and a bouncy castle for my brother's 2nd birthday. She also done a buffet and played a few games like pass the parcel. She put a few toys around the hall aswell like my little brother's trike and some kids footballs. If you havn't got much money then i'm sure a buffet and a few games at your house will go down just aswell if you have room.

These are a few toys my brother has and likes. The bottom link is showing some of the Happyland toys which is like a village of toys. There are loads of Happyland sets to collect that you could tell other people to get as presents. My brother had a massive Happyland village including a train track and station, fruit and veg shop, garage, farm etc. You could also get B some books if he hasn't already got loads.

Lydia is currently obsessed with Pocoyo!

I have no idea what to buy Aaron for his 2nd birthday! I can't believe how fast the time has gone to be honest! I've got him a Dora puzzle, a car play mat and a truck that has tools on it that you can take apart and put back together. I'm not going mad this year because he was so spoilt last year and he didn't play with half of it haha.
