2nd baby

I was just wondering if anyone else who has had a child before, is having things happen earlier this time round

Did you deliver a smaller/bigger baby?

Were you early?

My 2nd baby was 2lb heavier than my first and she was born 2 weeks later. Everything happened earlier in the pregnancy though, kicking was earler and i got a bump earler.

2nd baba was bigger by 1lb, i felt him and got a bump earlier, DD was 1 day late, DS (2nd baba) was 3 days early according to scan dates which where different from my own but came out dry like he'd been cooking to long.

Labour was a lot faster

I feel like i'm ready to pop now! and only 25 weeks.

They said my cervix is soft and 1-2 cm, but that is normal because I already have had one.

Quicker labour sounds good to me though. Is it more painful or about the same?

Yeh i definatly noticed things happen quicker, and my second baby was 1lb 1 oz lighter than my first and born on her due date whereas my first was 11 days overdue

Every labours different. But being faster it was more intence but not in a bad way, i had gas and air and peth. I hope this is the same actually i'd rather have a fast one and get it over with

Its normal for the cervix to be dilated as some cervixes don't close after a first or subsequent baby.
My second baby was 1and half pound heavier than my first and everything happened quicker. I was bigger earlier too

My second child was 1lb 4 oz heavier, and I noticed that I developed a bump alot sooner. The labour was more intense but 5 hours shorter than number 1, that could of been down to all the raspberry leaf tea I was drinking!
I also find that 2nd time round I'm more relaxed about things, have more confindence and don't stress if things don't always go to plan.

2nd baby was smaller, by 3oz, i got induced so cant say that i would have delivered early, but labour was significantly faster so im hoping this one will be easy

I wenty over and was induced with both...Brody was a few oz lighter than Mason but not much

I don't feel as relaxed this time, but it has been 7 years since I gave birth last! Had a few more problems this time round, but I think it is generally because I'm bigger than last time

my second was 5oz lighter than my first and she was 2 weeks early, i also had a shorter labour with her 7 hours altogether
with my 3rd he was 1oz bigger than my second and was 9 days early and labour was alot shorter only 2 and a half hours
