28 + 5 appointment?!?!?

Hi

I had my 28+ 5 appointment today. I had my glucose screen which was fine apart from the taking blood thing. Then I got my anit-D in my bum which was also fine, stung a bit but ok, I was worried that as it was in my bum it might affect my sitting down ability but the midwife informed me I would be well able to do this, thank god- it's my favourite position to be in

The thing that worried me a little though was that I had quite a high amount of white blood cells in my urine but no symptoms what so ever of a UTI. Has anyone got any experience of this???

Also baby is head down with legs by my ribs- that explains all the kicks I've been getting near my ribs and the tickles I've been getting down by my hip bones- wil baby stay this was or is s/he likely to move?

Baby still has quite a bit of room so I imagine that it'll still move around quite a bit. The MW isn't normally fussed about baby being head down until around 36 weeks

When I went for my 20 week scan my baby was head down too, then at my 22 week midwife appt she was still head down, then at my appt last week she was still head down. I was getting kicks high up near my ribs but now they are in the middle and my belly feels different so I think shes moved.

Cant help on the UTI sorry but my baby has been head down laying on left hand side now since about 28 weeks, so it is possible it might not move.

I'd not worry overly about the urine. If there is a problem they will let you know.

FWIW my LO went head down at 28 weeks and has stayed that way ever since.

I wouldnt worry about the baby not being heads down my little monkey has only just started to have a look down at the exit the last few weeks most of my pregnancy hes been head up or sideways.

im sure your baby will turn when the time is right
