21 week belly pic please

Please will you ladies post your 21 week pregnant bellies (or nearest) so I can compair. I am feeling bit worried as mine isnt that big it just seems to be shrinking. Not growing.

Don't compare your bump to that of other women - it's pointless and you'll only worry yourself. Even amongst our own pregnancies our bumps differ. I have just written in my other post this morning that my bump this time is bigger than I was with my other 2 children at 9 months' pregnant (and I'm only 6 months' pregnant now). I was tiny with my first son and no-one knew I was pregnant. My neighbours even asked whose baby he was when they saw me out with the pram at first!

If you have any concerns that your bump is not growing, then phone/go along and see your m/w. Have you had your 20 week scan yet?

A lot of a midwife's job is to reassure us pregnant ladies who (understandably, as we're carrying our most precious cargo!) get anxious from time to time. Please just give her a ring and tell her you're worried. Ask if she can measure your fundal height/let you hear the heartbeat to reassure you. And don't for a moment feel "silly", you're a mum: it's your job to worry about your baby
