Hi guys

this is my third pregnancy and I am 20 weeks tomorrow and I still haven't felt or at least I don't think I have felt my baby move or kick.

I have had two previous pregnancies and they were both completely different I didn't feel my daughter move until 25 weeks due to the way she was lying and I had lots of water front and back waters apparently!

Where as my son I saw and felt move from earlier on, though he was all baby and boys are said to be more active in the womb and he was bigger 9lb 11 born!

This time I haven't put on as much weight but I have been shattered and still occasionally feel sickly.... I have heard the heartbeat and heard the baby moving about and on my scans they said they are very active, my placenta is high....

I am on the slightly bigger side but nothing as yet I have my anomaly a week today so hopefully will put my mind at ease and I can't wait to find out if it is a boy or a girl....

doesn't help that people suggest as its my third pregnancy i should be super tuned in and feel things earlier...

just wondered if anyone else had experienced this? any help kindly recieved...xxx

This is my third baby too and I thought I was feeling it before my dating scan, then nothing at all, DH even came to the midwife with me to the 16 week appointment as I was scared there was something wrong and he wanted to be there in case we couldn't hear the heartbeat. But like you heard the heartbeat and movements etc but I wasn't feeling a thing. I am only just convinced this week that I am feeling small kicks from baby, with my other two I was feeling them regularly by now. And again like you thought I would be feeling it loads by now as I knew what I was looking for. I wonder if I am too busy to feel it during the day and too tired at night so I am just missing it. How old are your other children, mine are toddlers so I have a VERY active day and I am exhausted by the time they go to bed! x

I'm the same chick this is my 5th pregnancy (3rd baby) and all the scans and hb have been great but she doesn't seem to kick much. In the last 2 days or so it's getting more often but not as much as prev. I'm wondering if it's down to positioning. Xxx

I think every pregnancy must be different, someone else said they hadn't felt anything yet either a few days ago. Maybe it is just your busy with your other children and you haven't noticed yet or baby is lying in totally the wrong position to feel much, another couple of weeks and you will be getting kept awake at night or a foot stuck under your ribs!

this is me secong baby and am exactly 20 weeks today and i havent felt a thing also had me 20 weeks scan today all went well baby was very active a asked her why she said every pregnancy different and theres not a pacific time on it she said will feel move soon x

yes i agree i think maybe its due to hectic lifestyle i work part time and have a 6 old and a 2 year old so always busy... did think of buying or hiring a doppler but apparently they sometimes don't pick up very well and this can make you worry more.....

my midwife said just because my pregnancy is different doesn't mean it is wrong

she is right but i can't help but be anxious!

thanks for your comments it has helped ease my mind a little xx
