2 reasons for me to feel happy!!!!

I've just realised that I am 17 weeks pregnant today, and have only 17 weeks tomorrow left at work!!! So although I'm not yet halfway through the pregnancy, I'm halfway through something!!

I have been a little concerned about the amount of weight I'm putting on, but I'm not anymore! I never ever weigh myself, in fact my scales in the bathroom haven't had a battery in for a year. I was 11st 3lb when I had my booking in appointment at 5 weeks. This morning I put some batteries in the scales, and I'm 11st 10lb. So thats only 7lb in 12 weeks. Nowhere near as bad as I thought!!!!

Well done Tankett, that's great! I haven't weighed myself for weeks and weeks and am not planning to until after the birth now! What I don't know won't hurt me, lol!!

thats not much at all tankett... 7lb in 12 weeks!!! not bad... i was 9st 9lb before i became pregnant... 23 weeks later i'm 10st 11lb - thats 1st 2lb... i think i've out 1/2 stone on in the past few weeks.. my bump has really popped out in just 2 the past 2 weeks!!!!

I have another 14 weeks left working... hope they fly by!

Tankett I must have missed this post.. well done.. those 17 weeks will fly by now its spring time and you are over the half way mark.. 20 week scan next week eh?? How exciting.

As for the weight.. very envious... I have been reading my pregnancy book this weeknd and it says its normal to gain aprox a stone up to 3rd trimester - I put on a stone in the first trimester!!!!!!!!

I am seeing m/w on Wednesday for another weigh-in and no doubt I will not be a happy bunny after that!!

oh my god you are all so brave wieghing yourselfs i have not even bothered but you all got me thinking so im going out to buy some scales! think i was about 9 stone at the begining i will let you know what i am now when i get back with me scales!!!!!

Sarah.. I don't own scales either.. I just let my m/w weigh me when i see her every 3 weeks.. if I had scales I would depress myself too much!! I just eat and will worry about it after babba arrives!!
