I have got my first MW appt tomorrow morning at 9.15am!

I don't really know how long it will take or what to expect but hope it goes ok.

I am also a bit worried as for the last few weeks I have felt really nauseous and awful but yesterday and today I have not really felt sick and have had an appetite and felt healthier than I have in ages- I keep trying not to worry that something has went wrong as I don't feel sick

Lots os nerves :(

good luck for tomorrow hun!

I was nervous about mine too, but what will probably happen is you'll get weighed and your blood pressure checked. And then your midwife will discuss your blood test options with you and give you a pregnancy pack and leaflets about your options.

She might feel your tummy too.

As for the nausea I have been like that its only recently I have started to feel better. But like my MW told me 'You might feel rough, but your baby deosn't' and sickness and nausea are all part and parcel of a healthly pregnancy.

So try and relax and enjoy tomorrow!

JUST WANTED TO SAY GOOD LUCK FOR 2MORO HUN!!

I have been feeling like that on and off for the past couple of weeks, had a bad day today for it - feeling normal again- and that worries me!

At my first mw appointment I was given my own set of notes to look after and take to all appointments, had weight & height measured and bmi worked out, had urine tested (so don;t forget to take your sample) and had blood taken to be sent off for testing, was given a whole load of leaflets and information and was booked in for my dating scan.........

...hope that helps - it better when you know what to expect.

Good Luck for tomorrow....hope you mw is as lovely as mine!

Thanks everyone- I will let you know how I get on!

Just been to see midwife- she was lovely :cheer:

She has estimated my due date by the date of the last period I had after taking the pill which was 18th July- so that makes me 12weeks by her calculations so I should get a scan REALLY soon :cheer: :cheer:

However, I know when they do the scan they will say I am not as far on as that but at least I shouldn't need to wait long for scan :cheer:

glad it went well! hope you get a scan through soon!

Glad all went well and you have a lovely mw too! How exciting - you get to see your LO really soon! :cheer:

Glad to hear everything went ok and that you got a nice midwife, that makes all the difference.

glad all went well hun hope you dont have to wait long for your scan now xxx

glad it went well...I was really worried I wouldn't like the midwife so know that is a great relief.

Glad it all went well for you. Having a nice mw does make all the difference. Mine was lovely for my previous pregnancies, but they have swapped all the areas around and she is somewhere else now, so have no idea who I will have now :( . Hope it's someone I will get on with.

Heather x
