Finleys got his 1st jab tomorrow and ive got my 6wk check ( at 8wks )
im dreading it, hope he doesnt react too badly to it

you should be able to give him some calpol before and 4 hours later (well thats what the nurse said to do with alice).

how stupid are Gp's they rang me this morning at 9am to say that he couldnt have his jab til next wk as he aint 8wks til tomorrow, well they made the bloody appointment in the 1st place

He will probably cry but he will get over it quickly enough. If he does get fussy afterwards I think you can give him 2.5ml Calpol.

my LO had hers today and she was fine ( cried after the second one but not for long)
Couldnt get the CALPOL down her (she spat it straight back out)
Then fours hours later she had a right good screaming match for around an hour.

So try to get him to take the CALPOL and he probably will be fine
