1st birthday present ideas please!

Hi ladies

My daughter is going to be one in a couple of weeks and I'm just after some ideas of what to get her. I was thinking maybe a ball pit but can't seem to find any with good reviews.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

We got DD a cosy coupe car, she had seen one at a play area on holiday and loved climbing in and out. It'll last for years too as she learns to scoot along. Xx

My husband wants to get our daughter a scuttle bug when she is 1. They do 4 wheeled ones for younger ones x

I plan on getting some kind of play house for the garden for next year when my LO is one x

I was going to say a ball pit too. You can get one that is like an inflatable pink castle that looks quite fun - my friend has one in her house though not so good if you don't want an obstruction . might not be to your taste but the wee girls at the party loved it! Also to anyone with an LO who has a birthday in summer, a water table also seemed to be a big hit - I never would have thought that!

We're desperate to get LO a cozy coupe as we both loved them as kids but never got one of our own but they're for 18months+ so maybe it will be an xmas gift! x

Thanks Belfa, I'm thinking the cosy coupe too as she loved it when we went to soft play so I don't think it matters that it says for 18 months. Thanks for all the other ideas x

My daughter is having a smart trike for her first birthday in October.

Yeah we got given a trike from dh's sister. I've ordered a ball pit now from ebay so hopefully she'll have lots of fun with that!

We've got a labebe rocking horse for Elaras first birthday next month, and we're getting her the vtech alphabet train. Also some little bits and bobs like books and dolls/teddies.

What about a little kitchen? We got the ikea one and its fab. Cosy coupe or trike are good ideas too. Something more of a keepsake but what about a personalised book? We got our lo one called the boy who lost his name (you can also get the girl who lost her name). Google it to see. You can write a personalised message at the front of the book too. It's a lovely story too and will last for years x
