16 weeks today

Well I had my 16 week appointment with the midwife today for bloods and routine examination, was excited at gettin 2 hear babas heartbeat but she could not find it I have also been trying since 8 weeks with angelsounds doppler and have only found my own altho thot it was babs for a start She said not to worry to much it may jst be the way baby is lying altho she is sending the midwife out 2 my house on Sun jst to see if they can find it then.... god I hope so!! They tell u not to worry but what do u do....WORRY!!

Firstly have some of these Similar thing happened to me. I am having doppler and I was able to hear the baby from 10 weeks. At about 17 weeks my DH wanted his sister to listen to lo's heartbeat and we couldn't find it. I got so upset and couldn't work the next day. As soon as I got home I tried again and we found it then. My midwife said it happens very often that they can not hear it cause of the position the baby is in. Try not to worry too much, I am sure you will be fine.

Aww thanx for the I have started to feel a bit of movement this last week and my tummy is expanding so Im sure everything is fine, will feel alot better tho once Iv heard baba.

Aww yeh Im sure she will move over by Sunday and you will hear her!!

Woohoo sooo chuffed 2day!! Decided to have a go at finding babas heartbeat with my doppler this morning and BINGO!! Very wriggly tho wouldnt stay at peace long enough to count bpm altho i was struggling to count that quick anyway
