12 week scan at 10 weeks?

I got my scan date through today for the 6th of seotember wich will only make me nrly 11 weeks weeks. Do they norm do it this early as i saw in a leaflet they cant scan for downsyndrome etc if your not over 11 weeks?

Mine was at 11+1
I'm not sure about them before 11 weeks though, but they were able to take my nuchal measurement at that time x

I've just got mine lily for 5th sept, I will be 11 wks the day I go I was thinking the same, at my hospital they have started doing the nuclear fold test that I didn't have with my other 3 and my sister said she doesn't think it can be done at 11wks but I'm still going cos I can't wait and just see what they say xxxx

just go! if they cant get all the measurements they need they will send u for another one, what a shame!!!

I was told by my mw that best time for nuchal scan is anywhere between 10 and 13weeks. Only danger might be if you get put back, but if it's too early to get measurements they'd just arrange another one.

when i was pregnant with M i had my scan at 11 weeks and they couldnt get the meausurements they needed even though i didnt want downms syndrome tests they got me to go back at 13 weeks x

i had mine @ 10+6 x

i had to go back to get an extra one and i was nearly 13 weeks when i had mine - but bubs was being a little bugger and wouldnt turn round the right way the first time.
