So today I've had my 12 week scan.
We got to see baby waving, moving around, kicking it's legs about and being totally active!
However, because of this, we were able to get very few measurements though the few that we did get confirmed my dates. The nuchal fold test was impossible as the sonographer just couldn't capture the baby in a still and visible position. We tried Transvaginal too but no joy. Apparently my uterus is retroverted and according to the notes I had a lot of overlying bowel gas!
All in all it took 40 minutes and me jumping around like a loon to reposition the baby but we did leave with some fantastic photos of baby waving and kicking around.
Has anyone else had problems with visibility and a very active baby during scans?
