10 month old activities..

Can anyone give me some ideas for alanna to keep her happy and entertained? She is proving to be difficult lol. She doesnt really care about toys, much prefers finding bits of paper to eat! EVERYTHING goes in her mouth, i tried some babyshaped crayons, but nope, wanted to eat them.

Ive found for a while now that all my LO wants to do is go outside. Even just once a day. Could you take her for a stroll in the morning? This might calm her down and get her to play with her toys a bit more (instead of eating them )

Yeah she loves coming outside, but HATES being in the buggy so i have to let her out.. and its fine for 5 minutes but then she starts eating grass, leaves, dirt, anything she finds on the floor! Or aims straight for the swimming pool... but if i get her changed and take her out to swim, she just wants to get out of the pool and go into the bushes to eat leaves!

Pft, personally I let my LO eat what ever she grabs her hands on lol. Within reason of course, but so many times shes come running up to me with a face covered in mud because shes been eating it. I really dont think theres a way to stop it. Maybe let her do it and then hope she gets bored?

10 months I found a difficult age a bit because she was ready to get up and start walking but couldnt and so got frustrated, much like she did before she started crawling. Maybe itll soon pass and she'll stop getting frustrated at things. She probably just wants everything and anything and all at once!

Hehe yeah im not too jumpy about her eating everything, but if i see her do it, i kinda feel bad

And yeah! Shes deffo wanting to get walking, just hasnt got the coordination down yet, heres hoping just a SHORT phase lol

Can you not get her a plash mat it's like an aquadraw but skin leaves as impression my friends lo loved it!I find my lo will sit for ages with a pile of board books and just look through them!

You're so lucky! Lizzie won't sit at all, she just wants to be 'doing' things all the time.

The only thing that holds her attention is my phone when it plays music so I'm thinking of getting one of my old phones out for her to have (as obviously she eats mine lol)...she also really likes hard plastic things that she can 'bash' other stuff with. Think I'm gonna have a tearaway child
