My baby has been an angel up until now.... But today has been a nightmare... I dont know what to do! She's screaming and nothing soothes her, Boob - scream, bum - scream, burping - scream, entertainment - scream, brief nap and start all over again!! Anyone else had this? What did you do?

Ignore the age comment. She could be colicky. My baby got this about a month old. Is she bringing her legs up to her tummy a lot as she's screaming? X

My little one has a time of day where all he will do is scream for no reason or so it seems like it! He will have been fed, changed & clean nappy but still scream & no amount of cuddles can soothe him! I know my little one doesn't have colic because he doesn't bring his legs up to his tummy & he has always kicked his legs about since being born. They do go threw stages where they can get like this but it doesn't help when you can't settle your LO its hard.

Today he hasn't had that crying fit though during the day so I'm really hoping touch wood he isn't going to have saved it up for tonight.

Not really possible at night but if baby is doing this during the day, go outside. My son went through a phase and nothing else soothes him but he second I went outside he stopped and took in the fresh air. Would be with a shot x

My little one can sleep for hours when he is out in the pram, I don't know if maybe investing in a swing or bouncer if you haven't got one already could be an option? Could be that it could help ESP if they can soothe by motion?

My dad used to take my older brother out at all hours of the night because it was the only way my brother would settle he was really bad apparently but nowadays you can't do that much as it's just not safe to be walking the streets alone at night

Have you tried white noise? Alexis was screaming loads the other night and I decided to try it (just went on you tube) and honestly it was like we found her off switch, completely stopped her screaming. It was amazing!

Might be worth a go...

Xx

Do you drive? Alfie would be the same at this time of night or later and we've just put him in his pjs, popped him in the car and gone for a drive for an hour. Once we get in he goes straight in his bed, even if he's awake but settled. Or we give him a warm bath.

You could also put the tumble drier on or your washing machine on spin, the repetitive noise might help.
