    Could He Have Turned?

Sounds like it.... mine is head down and i feel her bum sticking out just to the side of my belly button. It's quite easy to feel, as it's the only large, bulbous bit. I like giving it a pat!

    Anybody claiming MA?

It seems to change from office to office, Mine took about 4 weeks to process, but they DID send me a form that outlined what i was entitled too and when the first payment would come. Ring your local office (the one you sent it too) and they should be able to look and see if they've started to...

very scared now of going into labour

Try not to worry. I don't think anyone has a baby in under 40 mins - in fact your early contractions will probably go on for hours, so just make sure you go to hospital at the first twinges, so you put your mind at rest (even if you end up there hours early or when it's false labour!!) I'm sure...

    Stitch is OUT!!

It was the Preparation for Birth Cd (about £12) from http://natalhypnotherapy.co.uk/ You don't need to do a course with this, so it's cheap and so far i've found it really effective. There is also Hypnobirth, but you're meant to go on a course, and i found it a bit 'american' and cheesy (the...

    Stitch is OUT!!

Oh it's def worth a try! I bought the 'preparation for birth' CD from natalhypnotherapy.co.uk, and it's really helped relaxed me, which the midwife was saying today is so much of the problem with labour - being frightened and anxious just compounds the pain. I'd def recommend getting it and...

    Stitch is OUT!!

Well, finally had my cervical stitch removed this morning. Had to go to the labour room, and they explained they'd have a look at stitch, but i would prob need pain relief, so had gas and air on tap, but may need a spinal block if it hurt too much (the stitich is like a purse string when it's...

    Back to back?

Been to hospital today and been told baby has moved and is now back to back. Noooooo!!!! I know i probably have a few weeks for her to move, but anyone else had this and had baby move? Or had labour with this? Am trying to lean forward and be upright as much as possible. Apparently it's our...

    Stitch out tomorrow!!!

Well, finally after 20 weeks of having my cervical stitch put in to keep little girl from coming early, plus months of bed rest, my stitch is FINALLY coming out tomorrow!!!! I can't believe i made it this far, i really thought i'd have lost her. But i have to go to labour ward first thing...

    Feeling Low today :(

I'm the same honey. Only advice i can give is to try not to stress about it. I've started just plugging headphones into a little radio by my bed and listening to the radio quietly when i can't sleep, and try not to think about what time it is, just that it's good that i'm lying down and...

    Sick and dizzy

I've been feeling really sick on and off over the last few days. Feels like morning sickness is back - eating is the only way to stave it off. Mention it to your midwife, but it's probably normal
