LO doesn't like being put down!

Most newborns are the same - I think of them as little baby monkeys that just want to be carried around by their Mum's. Lovely for them - time consuming and frustrating for you. But it will pass eventually. My LO always woke up whenever we put her in her crib - that was until she was about...

    Please please help

You say you tried controlled crying but found it stressful, which I totally understand. Did you try to just leave him to cry it out? If so, maybe the softly softly approach might be easier on you both. Leave for 2 mins, go back in to shhhhh/stroke tummy/sing a song, then back out for 2 mins...

    Self settling!!

We've just started this with gusto today (have tried a couple of times in the past but chickened out after just one go!) We need to get it mastered as at the mo we rock her to sleep in pram in the day (want her to sleep in her cotbed in her own room so it's more comfy and she'll be familiar...

    Aaaarrgghh! Help! Green poo! Stressed!

Oh, pinky - I used to feed one side only, but recently have been trying to get her to feed from both as she's a bit of a 'snacker and snoozer' so I've been trying to get her to take a 'good' feed each time.

    Aaaarrgghh! Help! Green poo! Stressed!

Thanks ladies. It's so reassuring to know you're here whenever I'm stressed! It's just so unusual for my LO and I'm worried it'll turn into diarrhoea or something.

    Aaaarrgghh! Help! Green poo! Stressed!

Not really. She's often quite a wind bag, especially in the morning - lots of trumps! But she's been okay today.

    Aaaarrgghh! Help! Green poo! Stressed!

As the title says. LO has just done what looks like a normal poo (runny and yellow) with bits of pesto in it! (Green slimey blobs!) She' NEVER had this before. She's 4 1/2 months old and 100% breast fed. She looks a bit off colour to me and seems a little warm (tho no temp yet) Anyone else...

    Bottle or sippy cup

Oooh! Let me know how you get on jojo! I'm more and more inclined to bypass bottles. While I've been thinking about it I've bought some bottle teats (which I'll probably never use!) and a TT first sips cup (which I've since read bad reviews for) so I'm now not sure which cup to use!!! I want...

    Sippy cups?

How old is your LO Sue? I'm thinking of weaning from breast stright to sippy cup and I'm wondering which to use. Would the TT hard free flowing hard spout be okay for LO of 6 months do you think? (I've just bought one of their valved 'first sips' cups, but have since read bad reviews saying...

    Bottle or sippy cup

Aaaaaarrrggghh! Another conundrum!!! I'm currently breastfeeding. Need to wean LO off of me by 7 months as need to go back to work, so planning to wean onto formula before I start weaning her onto solids. Hoping to get her off of me by 6 1/2 months (except the first morning feed). So...

how do i wean on to formula

I'm interested to read this as I'm gonna be doing the same in a few weeks. I need to get LO 'off me' by the time she's 7 months as I need to go back to work. I figured that I could wean onto formula first (by about 6 1/2 months) and then start weaning onto solids. Thw whole weaning process...

    Push & go

Do you need an 'off-roady' pram for this or will any one do?

    Baby Carriers??

Hi We've tried our LO in various slings since she was born - it took us 4 months but we've finally found one that both she and I are happy with!!! We bought a Babybjorn sling second hand for £14! Bargain! It has good back support and is easy to get LO in and out of. Haven't tried it with...
