yet more HCG results

Hi Guys ad yet more HCG's done today as thought i was spotting slightly (worry guts) and they are just over 10,000 does this sound good?

hi char the last lot were weds 2nd aug and were 1968 this lot 10,000 just over 8 days later so cant work out if that is doubling or what,she said as far as she was concerned they were nice figures but you always worry dont you,she said she didnt need to re-check them sunday as she was confident they were ok. will have scan soon hopefully she is sorting it out.

The results sound like they're increasing well, but I don't really know much about them apart from they're supposed to double every 48-72 hours during the early weeks

When do you find out when your scan is?

Hi Bexxie,

are you having your levels checked by your doctor or at the early pregnancy unit ??

when i had spotting at 10 weeks I phoned the early pregnancy unit and they got me stright in for a scan .. the midwife told me on the phone to not even bother with the doctor but just to go straight to the hospital...

maybe if you are not in contact with them you should give them a call and see if they can get you in for a scan. Good luck.

The EPAU have been doing the blood tests. The funny thing is I went to the GP's yesterday and got a sick note for work bacause of the spotting and he went mad and ordered me to bed (yeah right) next thing i know is i get home and the EPAU are ringing me and asking can i do more bloods. She said it is too early for scan just yet

But as I have a midwife coming round next week for booking in visit she will sort out the scan for me so I do know they will do in under 10 weeks just not sure when? I would pay for one but my husband thinks it is a waste of money,can pay £400 plus for a tomtom but £60-90 is a wastes for his wife's assurance (sorry,tmi there)

Well will wait and see

Funny with my losses if I get to 6 weeks thats when they want to scan me

I'm shocked they didn't try anyway!!!!

When are your next bloods to be taken hun?

 

Can you not just book it hun yourself, tough to what hubby says, I would go for it to ease your mind hun honestly. xxx

I dont know where to start to be honest plus he has all the money

Wobbles they said they dont need to do anymore bloods as she said she was thrilled with the level they were at,she reckons they progression has gone lovely and rsing really well.

Might have word with OH later but know what he will say,he thinks I ma paranoid as it is because I spotted he thought I over-reacted for ringing the midwife the other day

Thanks for all your support,I have the mw coming tomorrow for visit at home so am going to badger her for my scan as I NEED to know that i am still pregnant,I know I know but worrying is par the course.

Hubby much better now,he has been lovely think he was just covering his own worrries up by playing ignorant to what has been going on sill man!
