YAY! Completed breastfeeding course!

Hello!

Didn't know where to post this so if its in the wrong place then please move.

I have just finished a breastfeeding course and I am now a peer supporter for our local mum2mum group . Also I have just started the breastfeeding counsellors diploma through the NCT!

I am so chuffed I get my first mum next week!

I have to say thanx to the people on this board for helping me through the first few weeks... they were tough but I persevered and am still BF'ing now at 6 months!!

I hope to pass on some of my new found knowledge to mums needing help!

YAY! Congratulations am sure you will get lots out of it and you will have lots of grateful mummies Good luck with the NCT course as well. I was looking at the BfN online this evening - who did you do this course through?

Our community MW's are going to be running a course for this in September - I can't wait! It will be interesting doing it through the NHS as well.

The course was through our local mum to mum group in association with the BfN. Its fab! I have learnt so much especially about the phsiology of the breast and exactly how we manage to breastfeed!

The NCT one is a 3 year course though bit nervous about that one but excited at the same time!
