Well Lily was weighed this morning and she has dropped two percentiles since her last check up , she is nearly 14 weeks and is only 10lb9oz . She had actually lost weight :eh: She is taking six ounces at every feed and keeping it down but she NEVER cries for a bottle and we have to struggle to get her to take it . Se doesnt throw up though . So I have to take her to casulty in the morning in case it is silent reflux or an allergy . Im so worried :( . Has anyone any experience with this ?

Its probably silent reflux like you say. I wouldn't be worried though. As long as she is content and a happy baby then it's fine. Paige was ill once and and dropped down 2 centiles and soon picked back up. Ive heard alot of other babies on here losing weight and eventually putting it back on or just being slow gainers. Every baby is different and hopefully, if it is anything, they can pick it up tomorrow. xx

I think it just bacause she said to take her to casulty and gave me a letter .That scared me . Her reasoning for that is that there is no point in waiting for my gp to refer me to a pediatrician and that the childrens hospital are used to feeding issues and can deal with it quicker . Shes reachng all her milestones at least and doing well so I'll try keep it calm .

Its good that shes done that actually, thats really good of her. Im sure most people would have made you wait for the gp :wall: Brilliant that she's reaching all her milestones too. Once you get everything sorted Im sure she'll quickly turn into a chunk :)

Shes actually amazing to be fair anything I am worried about she takes seriously and tries to help he cut through waiting lists . Thanks hun its hard not to worry isnt it ?

Im not too bad on the worrying stakes, but sometimes I wish I was more of a worrier, like when I say Paige lost over 1lb when ill I should have really seen someone but I just figured it'd be fine. But she's fine now so I guess it was alright lol.

I love it when you find a good HV. Mine in this area are all fantastic and I feel like I can tell them anything and theyll try and help me out.

I'd love to be like you lol . I dont worry with Aoibheann but like I say after finding Lily not breathing I'm very over protective and funny about her .
Thankfully my lovely HV understands that and is so paitent . She even rang the casulty department to see when would be the best time to bring her in they said tomorrow morning is good as there is a nutritional specialist around in the morning .
