worried? strange feelings....

hi, im now 11 weeks and since i was about 4 weeks i have these really strange pains/crampings in/around my lady area is this normal its my second child my last child was 5 years ago im just too embarrassed to see the gp?? it feels quite heavy when i stand and seems to ease when i sit down and seems worse after sex??? and advice would be great x

I've had a very sore cervix, is this what you mean or do you mean lower down/external lady bits?

Then yes I've had this pretty much since I found out I was pregnant at 5 weeks.

I've had a colposcopy in the past and had my cervix lazer treated plus a biopsy taken. It's exactly the same sort of pain. I've got my booking in appointment next Saturday so I was going to ask my mw about it, I'm not sure how common it is, but I can empathise!

i seem to get a strange pulling senstation around the walls of the vagina too i never got any of these feelings with my 1st pregnancy, do you think it is worth mentioning at my next app?

It does sound to me to be very common to feel pulling inside before 11 weeks ,although mine stopped at about 7 to 8 weeks and I haven't had any cramping or pains since then really. I would check with your mw as they tend to know more about cramps and pains than the doctors in my opinion. hope it stops soon for you. all the best xx

I would mention it next time too. The uterus moves up in your abdomen to make room for the baby so ligament pain is fairly common, but it's definitely worth mentioning.
