So when is everyone telling work? I work in a childrens centre and wanted to keep my pregnancy a secret for a while but my midwife is based at my work!!! They have been great though and i love booking people in for anti natal now i see my name in the book . How has everyone else got on?

I told my boss before I was even sure I was pregnant! And had to tell my colleagues fairly soon as I used to do deliveries which meant heavy lifting and it would've been kinda obvious to just say 'oh I can't lift stuff any more' lol

I figure that as I work full time, I spend more time with my colleagues than anyone else so they may as well know what's going on

I don't have that problem anymore cos I work 4 myself but wen I was pregnant wiv my others I told work str8 away,I worked in a care home so a risk assessment had to b done on me lol. I've also told college last week,even tho I've only got 3 weeks left,again just incase of any risks etc x

I told my manager as soon as I found out as |I was bleeding and had to go to the hospital for a scan so needed time off and were short staffed so thought it was best to tell the truth, then I think that I told everyone else when I was around 9 - 10 weeks xx
