haha that is a bit unfair though, isn't it?, hehe don't worry i am staying put, never leaving you behind

Don't expect to hear it straight away - I was 13 weeks when I got mine (the angelsounds one) and thought I'd hear it first time after reading so many people finding it much earlier. After a few failed attempts over the course of a few days, I decided to give up on it for a while, as it was just making me fret!

Tried it again this morning as I was lying in bed feeling sorry for myself with a rotten cold, and got it straight away! :cheer: Thundering away like a galloping horsey!

Just above your pubic bone is where you need to listen - you need to press down quite hard and use plenty of gel as it really does make a difference. I hope you do hear it first time, I just wanted to reassure you in case you don't though. Happy babba hunting! :cheer:

that is so good you heard yours, i am kind of expecting not to hear anything, then when i do it will be a bonus, but still so excited, will be fun trying :cheer:

Louears, my MW found our beans HBeat with her Doppler but could get it again because bean was being naughty so don't worry if you can't find it straight away, even the professionals struggle! :wall:

I just got an email saying my Angelsounds is in transit, so low down with plenty of gel right got it, I think, Thanks girls :cheer:

There's lots of weird and wonderful noises going on in there, it's quite surreal at first! I don't think I was listening in the right place at first tbh :wall:

When you do find the heartbeat it's amazing! I can't wait for my OH to get home so he can hear it too - good luck with yours, both of you!

thank you so much, aww your OH will be so excited! i am wondering how will i know what is the right noise :wall: my stomach never shuts up so i am sure all we will hear is growling :rotfl: :rotfl:

I kept hearing my own heartbeat - which I thought was weird, hearing it down there - I guess it's because of all the arteries and stuff (nice!) Baby's heartbeat is twice as fast though (flipper's was 152bpm this morning!!) so there's no mistaking it once you hear it. It sounds a bit like a speeding train, or if you're right over it, it really does sound like a galloping horse thumping against the doppler. I think it only sounds that clear if bubs is in just the right position though. And it can disappear really quickly too - one teeny move with the doppler and it can take 10 minutes to find again :wall:

Hope that all helps

this is very helpful, and will put my mind at ease if we find nothing, i think it was tasha20 who posted her sound and yes sounded just like a train, as long as my baby is not saying choo choo, i will be happy :rotfl:
