Wonky teeth?

My LO has cut 2 teeth so far, and during playtime, she likes to bite the hard plastic toys that comes with her activity arch. My mum says I should stop her biting them as it can cause her teeth to grow misaligned - does anyone know if this is true?

sounds like an old wives tale to me.. Ancient man used to eat bark, and chew bones....like mid says teeth are made for biting.. Finger sucking will make teeth grow misaligned though...
