i usually rock/pat rhys to sleep but ive been told i should start putting him down when hes tired

so just now he was getting really sleepy so i put him in his cot and tucked him in....

he smiled at me and closed his eyes, next things he's snoring!!

cant believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHY did i not do this ages ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Clever boy

Ruby always went into her cot awake from the beginning really, so she always gets herself off to sleep within minutes....shes funny now-if I try to cuddle her after her 11pm feed before bed, she struggles and looks over her shoulder at her cot...I put her down and she smiles at me, then zonks out!!!

I always had a nightmare getting her to nap in day, but now I let her play in her cot for a bit with her mobile and usually within a few minutes she is napping
