wish me luck tomorrow - mw appointment

Ive got my next MW appointment tomorrow afternoon! im going to push about the ongoing (and quite bad at the start of the week) sickness, the fact my hip is still really hurting (im going to ask to be referred to the physio at the hospital) and im due to have tests next week for my liver function but im going to see if she will do them tomorrow - save me another trip to the hospital.


Ive had the odd itchy and really hot night, and the odd itchy day, but we will see. its not been anywhere near as bad as it was with alice, but im still a few weeks away from when it stated getting really bad with alice hopefully my levels are nice and low - well normal!


im really hoping i won't be fobbed off - im just not going to have it!! i will be straight to my GP to see what his opinion is if she does! im quite close to asking for a different MW anyway, i can't shake the feeling that we where forgotten before and i really don't want that again, but then im not sure if that is just me being hormonal and seeing too much into the situation


On the upside - ive lost count of the amount of people who have said i have popped out this week!!! YEY!! only 7 weeks till xmas and i finish work!! only a week till i go and see the mighty boosh, only a month until alices birthday, ooo!!! soo much to look forward to

Good luck for tomorrow hun! Hopefully she will do your tests tomorrow so you don't have to go to the hospital next week. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you aswell that she does refer you to the Physio and you can get some help for your hip!

Don't let them fob you off! If you feel like she does tomorrow, you should definetly consider asking for a different MW. I had a really horrible MW when I was pregnant with Amber, I know they're really busy but she made me feel as though I was wasting her time whenever I asked her any questions and acted as though I was an overly paranoid first time mum... (which I was, but that's what they're there for, to help us!) I asked for a dfferent one and was lucky enough to get one! I've been really lucky this time in the fact that I have got the nicest MW ever & feel like she actually listens to me & takes note of everything I say!

Ooooh I'm so jealous of you going to see the Mighty Boosh! I was watching that on DVD last night (love the episode from the last series where they do their 'crimping'!) Here's to having only 7 weeks to go til you finish work... and 7 weeks til chrimbo!!

Im back - well i have been for a while, but cheese and tuna sandwiches came above posting on here, sorry ladies!!

i didn't see my MW but a different one (and only 40 mins late ). she was lovely though. she started off in a rush, but as soon as i mentioned that i had a few questions, she stopped and actualy listened to me.

She gave me my matb form which i had compelely forgotten about!!! She has given me the phone number for the physio at the hospital so i can call and make an appointment. The sickness - there isn't much i can do apart from take it easy.


In the end i didn't ask her to take my bloods. Im going to go next thursday and get them done then - the MW's never seem to get me and the blood people (can't think of their correct name), are much better. Im due back on the 19th december now. but i have a consultant appointment in the meantime (beginning of dec).

ooo.... and i got my bounty pack + the one that you normaly have to go to asda/boots and get. Ive got a voucher to get another one as well


My BP is great and going down, she asked me if i was hungry as there was loads of something in my wee that showed i was burning fat instead of food?! can they seriously tell that from my wee!!!!!!! as for being hungry i had KFC for lunch as i fancied it
