As you probably know, we leave on Jan 28th for the states... I am trying to get organised and I have bought some of the ready made formula for the flight as if Arianna is tired, upset or needs settled she wants her milk and the airline will only supply so much cows milk and I have been told I am only allowed to take formula on.

I will of course use the milk on the flight as first option... but just as a back up I am taking the ready made stuff... will this do any damage or confuss her?? I gave her one of the ready made formula last night just to see if she would drink it or notice any difference and she was fine... so far (although it might still be early  ) doesnt seem to have given her any tummy/toilet problems.

Do you think this is ok to do???

Hi,
I am not sure about long haul flights but I have flown 4 times with LO within Europe and you can take liquids for the baby as long as there is not more than 100ml in each container. It doesn't matter how many you have (within reason). So I had 3 bottles with 100ml in and it was fine. It wasn't formula. Did you look at the airline online and see what they say about special requirements and hand luggage?

Yeah I asked... you can have as much formula as you want basically, but no real cows milk.

The rules are so funny. I didn't even have formula and they let me through, they were only concerned about the amount. I think A will be ok though. She will be so interested in the plane, travelling etc she probably won't even realise what you are giving her is different. Are you flying day or night?
I love your pics of her. She is such a little diva with her mic :)

Could you not buy cows milk cartons after security and take a little cool bag with you so it will hold its temperature
