Will I be okay? Fumes

Hi all

I think I'm Ok but could do with some reassurance or advice.

Just now I was cooking in the kitchen. I had the extracor fan on. I placed a used frying pan in the sink and didn't realise that it was touching a plastic stubbing brush underneath. I was about 2 feet away under the fan and didn't notice the smell.

My husband came in about 10 minutes later and said he could smell the plastic. I opened the windows and doors and then left pretty sharpish.

I feel fine in myself. I'm also hoping that because the plastic melted from a pan and not on the hob, it was a short burst of heat and so it would have been burning for long. Maybe just the contrast from being outside of the kitchen meant my husband noticed it.

Do you think I'll be ok? Should I call a doctor tomorrow or just wait to see how I go?x

Yes you'll be fine people do worse things when pregnant. If everything like fumes etc damaged us midwives wouldn't let us out the house

Defo don't worry about it Mrs I had an obsession with bleach last pregnancy and was cleaning with super strength stuff with windows closed. You'll be absolutely fine!

You will be fine, think people keep on working while pregnant in all types of jobs. I was working with solvents (plumber) and the doctor said everything would be fine (and it was she is 5 now)
