Will a low body temperature cause issues?

Hi,

My body temperature averages around 96.5 - 97 degrees F and I am having difficulty finding any information on whether or not that will affect conception or pregnancy. If anyone knows or can point me in the right direction, that would be appreciated.

I'm guessing it's around 36 degrees Celsius?! How are you taking your temperature?

Hi Kitana,

I am using a basal thermometer. Average is 97.9 - 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit, depending on which study you look at. So converted to Celsius, I am at about 36 degrees which is .5 - 1 degrees Celsius below average.

But these are measured before ovulation? Or after?x

Average is average for a reason, some people run hot, some run cold. I don't think such a small difference would matter but I'm no doctor.
