Why cant is stop raining?!?!

Its peeing me off now !!! (literally, all this rain makes me need to pee constantly )
Poor kids are off school and we cant go no where! They have been off for nearly 4 weeks now and we went to blackpool once, got the pool out once, we took them to Body worlds so that was ok as it didnt really matter that it was raining much except that we had to park quite far off and got soaked walking to and from the car!
We planned so much! Heaton park, Tatton park, Blackpool again, a zoo (any not too bothered which lol) but cant go in the rain!
What have all you ladies been doing while its raining!? Have you still gone places?! Where can I take them that will be a fun day out but not get soaked?!

Totally sympathise! I made an almost identical post last week.
I am still doing what I can, I refuse to stay in, today we've been on an "amazing amphibians" workshop, catching baby frogs and toads and pond dipping for stuff. It was raining at first but turned out OK.

I *think* the forecast next week is better.... I'm going to cram so much in if it is!!

Awww my kids would have loved that!!
Ive been looking in the local paper to see if anything going on and nothing! I think we may just take them to the park now for an hour as the rain seems to have stopped for a bit!!

its horrible isnt it,I wanted to do so much with the kids in the holidays.weve managed to fit a couple of trips to an indoor playcentre and a couple of trips swimming and thats it.we went to the seaside one late afternoon and had fish n chips wrapped in fleecey jackets and wellies im really determined to get out this weeekend somewhere!anywhere

Well we decided that we are going to the cinema on Sunday, theres this great deal on Vue cinemas where at the min in my local cinema, Alvin & the chipmunks is £1.50 for kids and adults go free! Then it will change and other films will come on each week so Im thinking this may be a regular thing for us now! (why didnt I know about this before!? lol)
Also we are going to go back to Blackpool twice! Rain or shine! One time for the fair then the next for the Sandcastle swimming pool!
We're going to more museums and theres a few little things going on around here (not much but founf them on the council website!)
Also swimming at our local pool! I dont know why that didnt enter my head before!?

honestly its really depressing me. the fact is we cant even go down the park for a walk to get some fresh air as it hasnt let up enough to do it for over a week. everything is soaking in the park we have managed to entertain ourselves. we have been to a ceramic place called the art cafe. it was briliant i spent more or less 40 quid on 2 cups but charl had great fun painting me one and i did teds han print on a saucer and charls on a big mug for me.. so im hoping it turns out fab we usually go swimming on a thursday so we are still getting out (but still gettign wet lol) i realy really hope the weather gets better over the enxt few days
