Hey there,

Looking into getting one and just wondered which one you recommend.

Thanks.

Ive got a tom tom (free with car) dont use it that much TBH i know my around. but when we do use it it helps a lot.

pretty pointless me replying really sorry. :?

We have a tomtom and we really rate it :)

I think it one of the easiest to use although they can be pricey it you get one of the top of the range ones.

We just have a tomtom one :D

I got a tomtom for xmas. We borrowed my SIL cheapie one from Tesco and it got us from Kent to Bournemouth no probs and got us around while we were there. We were going to the next town to us to the toys r us last week so we used it to get us there as wasn;t entirely sure of the route but of course the road it told us to take was closed due to an accident and it kept rerouting us back to the closed road :wall: , after I went into it and took out that section of the route it took us further up the motorway and we got there eventually. What I'm saying is that it does the job and gets you from A-B :D .

OH has tomtom i his works van(company bought it) but we use it in the car too and weve never had any problems with it and i find it quite easy to use :D

We've got a tomtom, it's great but you've gotta use your initiative as following the sat nav is the reason my car is now no mroe then scrap metal!

I use it to get me up to water babies and i loved it, i would never have found it without it as it's a well hidden school

I have a tomtom one and use it all the time, its easy to use and i've never had a problem with it.

I have a TomTom 700 with built in Bluetooth and it's about 4 years old now and still going strong, only minor issue is it sometimes 'freezes' or won't turn on but only when not on it's cradle so it's probably just the battery TBH.

It's really easy to update via internet, there's plenty of maps, speed camera locations, points of interest, etc. to download for free if you don't want to pay (you just need to search around ) and it can use your mobile to access traffic data for route planning.

I've got a RoadAngel Navigator. It is really good and tells you where the speed cameras are and how fast the speed limit where that camera is so you can make sure you aren't going too fast.

It's quite old now, probably had it about 3/4 years but it's been great. Something went wrong with the initial one i had and after they couldn't sort it, sent me a new one so good service too.

We use a Garmin Nuvi 300 and it's fab - tells us speed cameras (fixed and mobile), nearest petrol stations/shops/attractions/hospitals/etc as well as how to get from A to B! Would highly recommend it, but avoid the download voice of Homer Simpson - men seem to find it hilarious, I find it damn annoying!!!!
